About

A small tool that does one job well

Catbox Downloader exists because saving a lot of catbox.moe files is more tedious than it should be. Catbox is a wonderful, donation-funded file host that millions of people use to share images, clips, mods, and archives — but when someone hands you thirty links, your options used to be “open each one and Save As, thirty times” or “write a script.” This site is the third option: paste the list, click once, done.

What it does

You give it one or more links to files hosted on files.catbox.moe (or temporary litter.catbox.moe uploads), and it downloads them to your device. In bulk mode it can pack the whole batch into a single ZIP archive so your downloads folder doesn’t turn into confetti. Every file gets a visible status, so if a link is dead or a Litterbox upload has expired, you’ll know exactly which one.

What it deliberately doesn’t do

  • No accounts, no history. There is nothing to sign up for, and the site keeps no record of what anyone downloads.
  • No file hosting. We never store copies of catbox files. Files stream from catbox to you; this site is just the courier, not a warehouse.
  • No scraping or “ripping.” The tool downloads only the exact links you paste. It does not crawl albums, profiles, or anything else.

Our relationship with catbox.moe

None, officially — this is an independent project, not affiliated with or endorsed by catbox.moe. We’re fans. Catbox runs on user donations, and if you find yourself using their hosting often, supporting them is a genuinely good use of a few dollars.

How the site stays free

Catbox Downloader is free to use and is supported by advertising. We aim to keep ads unobtrusive — no pop-ups, no fake download buttons, no interstitials between you and your files. If an ad on this site ever pretends to be part of the tool, we want to know about it: tell us and we’ll act on it.

A note on responsibility

A downloader is a neutral tool, but the files themselves may not be. Only download content you have the right to access and keep, and respect the copyright of creators. Our Terms of Use spell this out, and our contact page is open to rights holders who believe the tool is being misused.
